Raphaëlle Imbach

Raphababe

Who are you?

Raphaelle! Double degree student in languages at a school in Lyon, committed to fighting climate change

What made you engage yourself?

Visiting a sorting centre near Lyon, seeing the accumulated waste really made me realise how useless this system is. This led to a questioning of the system as a whole.

Why did you get involved in Up For Europe?

Because, like many young people of my generation, I am looking for a fairer world! I met Julie and her questions about the European youth unit on climate issues resonated a lot with me, and suddenly I joined the team.

3 adjectives for tomorrow’s world / Europe?

Fair, social and ecological

Last oeuvre that marked you?

A documentary available on Netflix: How to Change the World, which looks back at the beginnings of Greenpeace and the founding of a more radical branch, Sea Shepherd.
